As of January 1, Polymetal’s ore reserves of gold estimated at 17.6 mln ounces

As of January 1, 2017, the estimated gold reserves at Polymetal International’s fields under international standards decreased by 1% compared to the previous year to 17.6 million troy ounces of gold equivalent (a troy ounce is 31.1 grams), the gold mining company reports.

The reserves of silver in comparison with 2015 decreased by 21% to 163 million ounces. The reserves of copper - by 23%, to 65.4 thousand tons.

The gold mineral resources estimated by international standards increased by 28% compared to last year to 14.4 million ounces. The silver resources increased by 80% to 87.5 million ounces, and copper resources grew by 57% and amounted to 206.7 thousand tons.
