At meeting on September 26, 2016, the Norilsk Nickel’s Board of Directors will consider the issue of attracting revolving syndicated loan to the amount of up to $500 million, the company informs.

At the end of August, head of company’s economics and finance department Sergei Malyshev said that the company intended to attract the confirmed credit line from a syndicate of Western banks, which would allow it to support the previously drawn lines of credit in the amount of at least $2 billion.

"We plan to announce the deal in autumn, with a view to support the amount of the confirmed credit lines for at least $2 billion," - he said.

In January, Norilsk Nickel signed an agreement on attraction of syndicated loans from Chinese banks in the form of revolving credit lines to the total amount of 4.8 billion yuans ($730 million) for five years.
